Located in the heart of La Jolla, Orli was built in 1913 by the famed Irving Gill as a private residence. Orli underwent a comprehensive two-year renovation in 2020 in which we diligently restored the building. It was important that we maintained the significance of Gill’s design and influence while weaving in the iconic elements of the surrounding landscape and giving it a modern flair. The result is a bespoke 13-room boutique hotel with an enticing lounge, inviting courtyard, and luxurious rooms filled with varied textures, high-contrast, and custom designs that curate an unforgettable guest experience.
